Founded in 2001, Socle Technology Corporation is one of the world's leading-edge providers of SoC (System on Chip) design and implementation services. In 2014, Socle was acquired by Foxconn Technology Group (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd). As a fully-owned subsidiary of Foxconn, Socle uses its expertise in semiconductor technology to manage semiconductor solutions within Foxconn. This includes the establishment of a worldwide IC channel to sell electronic devices from Tier 1 semiconductor companies such as SHARP and other products from Socle's partners.
